Job Description

LHH is seeking a Bookkeeper Admin for an opportunity based near the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago! This person will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the month-end close process. An individual with three plus years of bookkeeping and office management would be an ideal hire for this role. Position Title: Bookkeeper

Position Type: Direct Hire

Rate: $27-$30/hr.

Position Type: Fully Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable data entry and AR data entry
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and figure out discrepancies
• Post Journal Entries to the general ledger
• Assist with Payroll Processing
• Compile reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures
• Reconcile bank checking accounts
• Review and analyze financials records
• Process all incoming checks
• Assist in preparation of Balance Statement
• Review figures, postings, and documents for correctness
• Other clerical duties required as requested

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Three years of working experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is required
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly detailed
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office applications
• Superior level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Good customer service skills
