Step onto the floor in Lafayette and take ownership of press readiness. As a Plastic Injection Molding Setup Technician, you’ll stage molds, dial in machine parameters, and keep production humming while partnering closely with operators and quality to maintain a safe, supportive, and high‑performing environment.

What You’ll Tackle

• Prepare, set, and fine-tune injection molding machines to align with job specifications and production plans.
• Watch cycle performance, make real-time adjustments, and drive throughput without sacrificing quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Champion safety and quality procedures across every run and changeover.
• Work hand-in-hand with teammates to hit production targets and resolve line challenges.
• Capture production details accurately, including machine settings, changes, and results.
• Coach less-experienced team members on setup standards and safe operating practices.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience setting up injection molding presses or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Solid grasp of molding processes, machine functions, and setup methodology.
• Ability to read and apply technical documentation, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Sharp problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communicator and effective collaborator.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime when needed.
